Carrie Kaser an artist, a printmaker, and an educator based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her work in painting, drawing, etching, lithography, and screen printing investigates the space between signal sent and signal received, or, how we as humans make sense of the messages with which we are constantly receiving. Through drawing and printmaking, she searches for connection and meaning through visual imagery.
Carrie grew up in western Colorado and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, Tamarind Institute and the University of New Mexico. She holds an MFA from the University at Buffalo and currently teaches printmaking at the University of New Mexico.
